LOST AMUSEMENT PARKS
MICHIGAN - AMUSEMENT PARKS
Note: Detroit had an amusement park along the waterfront on the west side of the Belle Isle Bridge. Over the years it had a variety of names
because sections of it were leased to various companies. What started out as Wolff's Park in 1906 became Riverview Park, and later
Palace Gardens amusement park, Electric Park and Luna Park. After a long legal battle the amusement park was condemned by the city in 1929.
